2. Strictly necessary cookies
The site uses cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary: keeping a session in the editorial team's private admin area, and technical preferences required to display the site. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site and do not require your consent.
3. Analytics
The site records page-view events to measure readership. These events are stored on our own infrastructure and are not shared with an advertising network.

No optional functional cookies (personalisation, content preferences) are in use today.
5. Marketing or advertising cookies
No ad network is integrated into the site and we display no advertising. Our partner booking widgets (Travelpayouts / Klook, Viator) do however set third-party affiliate and measurement cookies used to attribute a booking to our site. Those widgets only load once you have consented.
6. Third-party technologies
The site relies on technical providers (hosting, database) which may set cookies strictly necessary for the security and availability of the service. It also embeds, after consent only, the following partner technologies: Travelpayouts / Klook (offer widgets and affiliate tracking) and Viator (activity widgets). Those partners are responsible for the cookies they set and for their own privacy policies.
7. Consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent, as the law allows. The third-party cookies from our booking partners are non-essential: a consent banner appears on your first visit and nothing loads until you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage and can be changed at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
8. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page: partner widgets then stop loading. You can also delete cookies already stored and block future cookies in your browser settings.
9. Duration
Session cookies expire when you close the browser or when the admin session ends. The lifetimes of cookies set by our booking partners are defined by them and listed in their own cookie policies.
10. Necessary versus non-essential
A strictly necessary cookie lets the site work (security, session, display). A non-essential cookie serves additional purposes (detailed measurement, personalisation, advertising) and requires your prior consent.
